1. Summary
JavaScript is a scripting language that can be used within HTML webpages. Your browser can be set to enable
or disable the use of JavaScript. Here we explain how to enable JavaScript in both the Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox web browsers.

- Open the "Tools"" menu in the menu bar;
- Select the item labeled "Internet Options";
- Click the tab labeled "Security";
- Select "Custom level";
- Scroll down to the section labeled "Scripting" and select "Enable" for the item labeled "Active Scripting";
- Click "OK" twice to save your settings.
- Refresh your browser's current page.
